you’re well aware of the extremely low inventory of desirable homes out there. It’s no secret, and sellers have used this fact to
essentially name whatever list price they want, and still receive multiple
offers within days of hitting the market. This trend is starting to change though. To be clear, prices are still rightfully rising, but sellers are forced
to be more realistic in pricing their home rather than utilizing the successfully aspirational pricing
strategies seen in the early months of 2018.
In Metro Atlanta, year over year home sales for the month June
saw a 3.8% decrease. Better than some of
the Nations hotter markets referenced in the below article, but still
significant.
Buyers have already adjusted their search criteria, and it
may be time for sellers to adjust as well. As we turn the page to the second half of the calendar year, it is
